Make Your Customers Believe
By swan480 on May 29, 2008 in General
One of the most important parts of successfully marketing and selling a product is making potential customers believe in it. Marketing language of course plays a part in this — peppering your copy with words like "you" tend to get readers’ attention better, and focusing on what they’ll get out of buying your product is most likely to convince them to take the plunge.
Sometimes, though, it helps to do your research and be able to sound like you know what you’re talking about. (And, if you’re selling the stuff, I really hope you do!) Take for example the product called Growth Flex. It uses scientific information to explain why the product works — and translates that into what you will get out of it! This website is so convincing, and the scientific data so logical, that even I — skeptic that I am — made me start thinking about how growth hormones could cause a height increase. I’ve never stopped to think about what vitamins make you grow taller, but the way the website explains it, it certainly sounds plausible.
I encourage you to check out the website and see how scientific explanations are woven into the marketing copy. Anyone with products that have a scientific basis could probably benefit from using this approach to convincing your customers to buy!
