How to Recycle a Relationship Book
By PRP on Apr 28, 2008 in Society
You used to be infatuated with books on relationships. You bought books on every topic from how to get a date to how to get a divorce. But now that you’re settled into a happy relationship, you don’t need those books anymore. Don’t just toss them out; recycle them.
Here are some tips for recycling your own relationship books:
- Gift them. There must be someone in your life who is going through the issues that are discussed in each relationship book. Identify who those people are and put together gift baskets for them that include the book and some other nice little treats like chocolates and scented lotions.
- Sell them. You can sell them at a discount online through sites like Amazon. You get a little cash and get rid of the book; someone else gets low-cost relationship advice. It’s a win-win situation.
- Donate them. Libraries are always taking book donations so see if the one near you could use yours. Donations to a women’s shelter are also a good idea.
Don’t just leave your books sitting on a shelf. And definitely don’t just toss them out. Let them be useful to someone else by recycling them in the form of a giveaway.
