Justine Henin Looking Forward to the French Open Schedule

Though the 2008 French Open schedule will change based on who wins what matches, the women’s singles finals is expecting at least one familiar face—that of Justine Henin. Henin has won the French Open for the past three years and she holds that record with tennis-legend Monica Seles. She is an ambitious athlete and her goal is to set a new record by becoming the first woman to win four straight since the open-era. Her French Open scores are unbelievable.

During last year’s tournament, Henin did not lose a match and she showed off her elegance and personality with her game. This was probably hard for her because she was recovering from a divorce that caused her to miss the ’07 Australian Open. In fact, her fan base seemed to broaden as her very-public personal pain seemed to humanize her to the world. And hopefully the French Open tennis tournament news will be about her game and not her love life.

No matter who she faces, regardless if she wins or loses, she is always the Queen of Clay. She is a legend in the making and an unbelievable athlete.
